Jay Z said it best in 2004 on “Allure” off his Black Album…I was watching this video of The Clipse & Kanye West (and Curtains…and Kid Cudi…and others) hanging out at the video shoot for Kinda Like A Big Deal looking at samples of Kanye’s recent Nike and LV releases, and began thinking.  I could only hope that this could soon be myself and my counterparts drooling over something that I/we created, kind of the way that kids crowd around after they see something amazing and ask “How’dya do thaaat?”  Something so simple as looking at a sneaker can serve as so much more…a humbling moment for Kanye…a “damn Im glad Im along for this ride” moment for Ibn…a aspirational moment for Curtains…ect, ect.

Im going to start a set of posts called “Its the Life”, with videos and photos of things that I aspire to in my lifetime…a dedication to the way I wish to live.  Shout out to the people I want to share these times with in the future…What up CT, Jay West, Savage, Gilles, Jamaal, DJ Fresh.com, and everybody else in search of the same things I am…to paraphrase Mos Def…These are Marvelous Times.
